Eyebrow

The smallest procedure we do, and the least forgiving of error.

A few hundred grafts, placed at angles flatter than anywhere else on the body, in directions that change three times across a single brow. Overplucked arches, scars and naturally sparse brows can be rebuilt — permanently, with one honest trade-off you need to know first.

What it is

The technique, without the brochure gloss

Fine single-hair grafts are taken from the nape, chosen for the closest calibre match to brow hair, and placed one by one with an implanter pen. Direction is everything: brow hair sweeps upward near the nose, horizontal through the arch, and downward at the tail — and each graft must obey the map.

The design is drawn with you and a mirror, to your face and your preference — not a template.

The trade-off, stated plainly: transplanted brows are made of head hair, and head hair never stops growing. Your new brows will need trimming every one to two weeks, for life. Most patients consider that a fine price for having brows; you should decide with the fact in hand.

How it works

Step by step

  1. 1

    Design

Shape, symmetry and arch drawn with you in the mirror and adjusted until you approve.

  2. 2

    Donor extraction

Fine singles from the nape — a small area, quickly healed and hidden.

  3. 3

    Direction-mapped placement

Each graft placed nearly flat to the skin, following the three direction changes of a natural brow.

  4. 4

    Symmetry check

Both brows compared and refined before you leave.

Who it suits

  • Years of overplucking that never grew back
  • Scars through the brow line
  • Naturally sparse or fading brows
  • Partial loss — filling a gap to match the rest

Who it doesn't

  • Unstable alopecia areata — transplanting into active autoimmune loss fails; diagnosis first
  • Anyone unwilling to trim regularly, forever

The honest limitation

Around 10–15% of eyebrow grafts settle at slightly imperfect angles even in expert hands — the skin here is thin and mobile. A small refinement session at 12 months is sometimes the difference between good and perfect, and we’ll tell you at the outset if we think you’re likely to want it.

Recovery

What the weeks actually look like

  1. 1
    Days 1–5

Crusting along the brows; no makeup over the area yet.

  2. 2
    Days 5–10

Crusts gone; the brows look sparse again — the shed is coming, not failure.

  3. 3
    Weeks 2–4

Shock shed of the transplanted hairs.

  4. 4
    Months 3–9

Regrowth, first trims, and the shape settling into daily life.

Questions

Asked about Eyebrow

Design and angle decide that. Single-hair grafts at correct angles, in a shape drawn for your face, read as brows — not as hair placed where brows should be. Ask any provider for close-up healed photos at twelve months; it’s the only view that matters.

Every one to two weeks, forever. Head hair keeps head-hair growth cycles. A minute with scissors — but a lifelong minute, and you should know before you book.

Once the crusts have fully cleared and the skin is closed — typically around two weeks. We confirm at your photo check rather than leaving you to guess.
